Catching You Up

I haven't been writing much, but I'm also not sure this blog is being seen much so it may not matter. Haha. Nevertheless, I will write a quick update on our lives in the hopes that it will be of interest to someone out there! Ryan and I are settled into our new house! We LOVE it here. It felt like home long before we ever made it ours. Slowly, I've been making trips to Tai Pan, Ross and Hobby Lobby to decorate the place. It is coming together well. Right now, Ryan is looking to buy a new tv. We've never owned a flat screen as a married couple, haha. We bought a projector in our first apartment and projected movies onto the wall...that was AWESOME!!! but our other homes haven't had a great set-up for that. I think we'll have to arrange some sort of outdoor movie this summer just to remind ourselves we have a projector! ;) I went through a small nesting phase and bought some things for our future baby. Among those things are: -- A Petunia Pickle Bottom Bag -- A Chicco Keyfit 30 Travel System -- Babi Italia Mayfair Curved Convertible Crib -- Other odds and ends (clothes, stuffed animals, etc) It's kinda tricky to move forward when the gender of our future bundle is unknown! One thing is for sure, I am super baby-hungry. ;) I'm trying to distract myself, otherwise the waiting seems really hard. We really aren't in any place to complain, however. We've only had a life profile for 4 months or so. We pray every night that our future birth mother and baby are healthy, happy, and inspired...and we pray to be ready. I am working a ton as a hygienist and Ryan keeps busy with his IT work at WSU. This week I'm working 6 days, and on average I work 3-5 days a week. I certain get enough opportunities. ;) I LOVE subbing and I really enjoy my steady position at Dr Felt's office as well. We will be moving to BRAND NEW office at the end of April! I am SOOO excited! This will be awesome! We are talking about visiting San Francisco! At first we were considering Florida...but the timing felt off for some reason. Then, New York, but I figured that would be a pretty easy trip to take on an extended weekend once we have a baby. It's far less likely we would take a long roadtrip to Cali (excepting to see Shar and Dustin) after a baby comes, so we may make this happen. Plus, Cali would be cheaper than going back East and we have lots of goals that require mullah, so we are re-allotting. :) We like our new ward. I did my visiting teaching for the first time in a long time! Which reminds me, I have to call and ask if the sisters have done theirs...that is my new calling. Note to self -- do that tomorrow morning!!! I am also the RS chorister. Ryan has been asked to fill a new calling as well...but I can't reveal what it is until he is called at church. We think that will happen the Sunday after General Conference. I am really happy that Spring is coming. I have already gotten out on a few walks and really hope to teach myself to enjoy running. It has always been one of those things I dread, but these days it seems like anyone who is anyone runs so I'm gonna try to follow the crowd on this one. Anything for my health, right?! Except for eating healthy, blah! Not doing that. ;) So, let me gather some intell...is anyone reading these? or would they read these blog posts if I continued to write them??
